My name's Sophia - pronounced 'Soh-fee-yah', not 'So-fiyah'.🔥

I was born in Nottingham but spent most of my childhood living in Spain, until my family decided to move back to the UK, which doesn't seem too drastic until you learn we moved back to live in SKEGNESS. If you haven't heard of the town, please don't Google it.

I was the first in my family to go to university and unsurprisingly, I chose London (far enough from Skegness and exciting enough to remind me that Britain could be just as good as a Spanish island). I studied Spanish & Latin American Studies at UCL, and spent my third year abroad in México where I took courses in Marketing. Following my graduation and a 3 month internship at a start up (see CV), I travelled Australia for 8 months (well, 4 months of travel and 4 months working on a cattle farm!)

 

I am now based in South West London, working as the Branded & Partner Products Executive for boutique mother & baby retailer, JoJo Maman Bébé. I love beaches with palm trees, Frida Kahlo’s art, playing netball, and listening to Frank Sinatra on rainy days.
